Bonding Over The Fair

Miggity , Barbara and I had some wine at my place Friday night. The group had planned to go to the Fair early Saturday; so after Barbara left, Miggity suggested he spend the night! We stayed up a bit more and talked and then watched some TV. The excitement brewing about the fair... it was just wonderful! :-)
It was nice that he wasn't preoccupied about his schedule the next day. Fair day arrived and we walked and ate, and walked and ate. This was my best fair experience ever!
And he was very patient with me doing my photo taking deal...
So, here are my ratings for the food- from everything I tried, the most creative goes to FRIED PEACHES N CREAM. They were like this great tasting surprise... nice fried crust with a great peach inside and it wasn't too greasy from the inside. Best "normal" Tasting food goes to the GREEN GOBLINS; these were cherry peppers (tasted like pickled jalapenos), chicken fried on a stick (like a corn dog). I also tried CORNY DOGS which were pretty good. I liked the crispier ones that tasted less corn-breadish. The FUNNEL CAKE was not one of my favourites. The FRIED ICECREAM was pretty damn good. The FRIED ALLIGATOR was almost like chicken but a bit more rubbery, and a little too welldone (or wellfried).

We got back home, totally exhausted, after having walked probably 4 miles in crowds for about 4 hours. We unwinded by watching like 4 straight episodes of Kyle XY. So, my urge to tell him "I love you" has been bubbling to the surface again these past couple of weeks. Of course, I still don't have the balls to say it. So, instead I reel him into a cute conversation... I wanted to know how he felt when he first met me. He told me there are still times NOW that he gets that "nervous excitement" when he's coming to my place. How cute is that? :-)
