Interview, Copelands & Cake

This past weekend Miggity and I went shopping (really shopping) for the first time and he bought a nice shirt, tie and belt (all chosen by moi!) for his interview Tuesday.
And Tuesday came. His interview with Raytheon has been in the making for a while now, and from what I could tell, it went really well. I also met him for lunch and got to see him in the new tie and new shirt. He looked so good! :-) And the pink definitely worked. I think I can get the engineer to veer a little on the colourful side every now and then. Miggity had brought me a little surprise... leftover chocolate cake from our friend's b'day a few days back and fed me a couple of bites. We went to Copelands for a most wonderful Shrimp Etouffe meal (really good!) and went back to the car to finish gorging on the cake. It was just such a wonderful lunch. I really enjoy this once in a blue moon treat when he drives down to Southlake. So, all in all, it was a big day. And I think there was a "moment" in couple-dom when we went shopping and he was relying on me to pick out something suitable to wear. It felt good to feel needed you know :-)
