I can talk about the well done Filet Mignon I had, but I won't. Instead, I want to dish about the creme brulee (literally translates to burnt cream in French). My colleague raved about it and so a couple of them ordered it. I decided to try some once it arrived. Like most perfect creme brulee's, this one came in its own little wonder dish. You know, the little white porcelain dish with those wonderful ridges on the side. The creme brulee looked like it had a perfect caramelized flambe crust. With a couple of taps of my spoon I broke into the top and scooped some crust along with its creamy counterpart. It was heavenly. Too bad I was sitting with colleagues, otherwise I would have uttered some Elaine sounds at the table. The custard was not too heavy, not too sweet... just perfect. The fried calamari and creamed spinach appetizers were good. Nothing to write home about, but good. I am not a big steak eater, so I can't really rate it. Overall, the service was good and the ambiance was great. I could see myself trying all their in-house made desserts as to go entrees over time!
