Porto and Paciugo

Porto Forward
A 60-something year old man bought me a $50 bottle of port. Every time I play the happening in my head, it leaves me with this wonderful feeling about life and its surprises. However, if I tell you the details, it will lose its charm. The 20 year Sandeman Tawny Port was a beautiful, glistening shade of brown and orange. The taste was smooth with a strong flavour of what I would imagine could have been cognac and brandy. Cheers!

The Simplest, Sweetest Moment
Miggity and I remained social this past weekend. Finally on Sunday, we chose to slow down and share some 'us' time. We ran errands, watched TV, did the act, but the best part for me was sharing gelato inside the Uptown Paciugo. What is it about such simple pleasures that makes one forget? It was a fusion of warm, fuzzy feelings of childhood mixed with the blissful feelings of bonding with someone I cared about. If I could translate my cup of mixed berry and chocolate chip cookie dough gelato into feelings, that's what I felt like at that moment. Note to self: If I need to feel loved, take Miggity to Paciugo and get a double dose!

  1. That port was quite amazing. Now you must bring me to this gelato place!
